we champion active lifestyles for youth, fight child obesity, and create
healthy role models. According to the America Obesity Association, approx.
30.4% of adolescents are overweight and 15.5% are considered obese.
Adolescents with weight problems tend to have lower self-esteem, higher
rates of depression, anxiety, and obsessive compulsive disorder. Obesity is
much more than an individual problem; it costs the United States nearly $100
