Sonya Ottaway-Anderson, President |
Co-Founder and President of Netball America originating from Australia, has over 25 years experience playing Netball. Sonya's passion for Netball has inspired her to achieve Netball history with Netball being showcased at the Staples Center in front of a crowd of 14,000. Sonya looks forward to taking Netball in America to the next level through strategic partnerships with established, recognized American sports combined with the "Youth Enrichment Netball Program" - a Netball America initiative to integrate Netball into the American school physical education programs."
As a player, Sonya represented the USA on an International level and holds an 'A' Badge in Umpiring. When regular life pulls Sonya away from Netball, she is a Senior Manager in KPMG's Advisory Services. Sonya is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Australia. She also is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association. Sonya holds a Bachelor of Business, with Distinction (in Accounting) from the Central Queensland University, Australia.
Sonya has served on the Board as Treasurer for the Australian American New Zealand Association and is currently the Southern California Representative for the American Women’s Self Defense Association. Sonya is studying for her 3rd degree black belt in Hapkido-Kuksool and Taekwondo and is a Board Member of Total Protection Solutions |

Steve Anderson, Director |
Steve was born and raised in California. Steve is a Co-Founder and Director with Netball America and has a passion for introducing Americans to the Sport. He is amazed at how this is a fast and exciting game to watch and that being able to shoot without a backboard really takes some skill. An avid supporter of the game, Steve attended the Netball World Cup Qualifiers in Barbados in 2006.
A golf professional with over 10 years of extensive experience working in the sporting industry. He has also run a successful restaurant in Northern California. Steve was a Physics major at The University of California Santa Barbara. |

Jo O'Key, Director |
One of the co-founders of Netball America in 2007 and a Director of Netball America and West Coast Region executive.
Jo founded PCNL (Pacific Coast Netball League) created for the development of players, umpires and coaches for the West Coast netball clubs, and has been Assistant Coach for the Los Angeles Waves Netball Club since 2004. As a player, Jo has represented the USA at various International Netball Games since 2004 and currently holds her A Badge in umpiring. Most recently Jo played in the Lightning vs Thunder netball exhibition game at the Staples center in front of a 14,000 crowd.
Jo has broad professional background and continuously seeks new challenges to conquer. With her family in entertainment, she has been heavily involved in performance and teaching. Jo has over 16 years of International Sales and Advertising experience, including development of a successful UK business, Phoenix Advertising in which she was Managing Director. Jo is a California Real Estate agent focusing on investment properties and is also studying psychology and justice administration. Jo intends to move into a career on law enforcement, with a strong interest in women's safety divisions. |

Moreen Logsdon, Director |
Co-Founder of Netball America and originates from Australia. Moreen currently resides in Nashville, Tennesse and has over 25 years experience playing Netball. Moreen has represented the USA on an International level from 2004 - 2006 and is currently focused on increasing netball coaching skills within the USA.
Moreen is also an IT professional and has extensive experience with Microsoft Products. Here IT experience includes working for a Microsoft Partner - Epartners, Gibson Guitar and HB Pizza. Prior to becoming an IT professional, Moreen was a Police officer with the Australian Police. |

Valerie Passley, Director |
Valerie was born in Jamaica West Indies and currently resides in Coral Springs, Florida. Valerie moved to the USA in 1980 and has been involved in various aspects of netball since then. She has also served on the board of other netball associations and was more recently was the Match and Tournament Officer for the USA netball association.
Valerie's passion is for the kids and is working hard within Florida to get netball into the school system. She also runs the Winners Juniors Netball Club in Florida. |
