PRESIDENT, SONYA OTTAWAY

Co-founder of Netball America, Sonya's passion for Netball inspired her to achieve Netball history with Netball being showcased at the Staples Center in front of 14,000 people. Sonya looks forward to taking Netball in America to the next level through strategic partnerships with established, recognized American sports combined with the "Youth Enrichment Netball Program" - a Netball America initiative to integrate Netball into the American school PE programs. As a player, Sonya represented the USA on an International level and holds an 'A' Badge in Umpiring. Sonya is also a certified Chartered Accountant, an Information Systems Auditor and holds a Bachelor of Business, with Distinction. Sonya has served on the AANZA Board as Treasurer and is the SoCal rep. for the American Women’s Self Defense Association.

DIRECTOR, STEVE ANDERSON

American born Steve is a golf professional with over 10 years experience in the sporting industry as well as Co-Founder and Director with Netball America and has a passion for introducing Americans to the Sport. He is amazed at how this is a fast paced game and how shooting without a backboard really takes some skill. An avid supporter of the game, Steve attended the Netball World Cup Qualifiers in Barbados in 2006. Steve was a Physics major at UCSB and holds an Associates of Science Degree.

DIRECTOR, VP OF COACHING, JO O'KEY

A Netball America co-founder who is focused on the development of players, umpires and coaches across the nation. Jo has been head coach for the LA Waves Netball Club since 2004. As a player, Jo has represented the USA at various International Netball Games since 2004 and currently holds her A Badge in umpiring. Most recently Jo played in the Lightning vs Strikers netball exhibition game at the Staples center in front of a 14,000 crowd.

Jo has over over 16 years of International Sales and Advertising experience, holding positions such as Managing Director of Phoenix Advertising in the UK including the development of a successful UK business. Jo is a California Real Estate agent focusing on investment properties and is also studying psychology and justice administration. Jo intends to move into a career on law enforcement, with a strong interest in women's safety divisions.

DIRECTOR, MOREEN LOGSDON

A co-founder of Netball America, Moreen has represented the USA on an International level from 2004 - 2006 and is currently focused on increasing netball education within the USA. Moreen is an IT professional and her experience includes working for a Microsoft Partner - Epartners, Gibson Guitar and HB Pizza. Prior to becoming an IT professional, Moreen was a Police officer with the Queensland Police Service in Australia.

VP of EDUCATION,
ROSLYN DAY

Ros has served 3 years as VP of Netball Alberta and has coached, umpired, and competed as a provincial player. She also held the role of School Clinics Coordinator where she ran 'Teach the Teacher' clinics, Netball 101 programs and developed a summer camp program. In one year Roslyn taught Netball in 22 elementary schools and 13 junior high schools. Roslyn holds a Level One NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program) certification and has over 35 years of Netball experience in a variety of countries including USA, UK, Australia, South Africa, Canada and Europe. Her corporate experience includes a variety of roles within the Financial Services sector.

VP of MARKETING & STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS,
ELIZABETH (LISA) GREGORY

Lisa has over a decade of marketing, communications  and business development  experience. Lisa has developed targeted Netball America proposals for corporates, the WNBA, NBA and she has also represented Netball America at key strategic partnership meetings.  Her development and execution of an integrated marketing communication strategy has seen an additional 200 paying members and increased our social networking following by 400%.  Past experience includes working  for Air New Zealand, Tourism Queensland as well as directing marketing efforts for start-up companies.  Lisa is working with NY Cares - New York's leading volunteer organization.
