Netball America (NA) was founded by four individuals with a common love of netball. The original directors first met in 2003 through Netball competitions in the US and abroad.  Australians, Moreen Logsdon, Jo O'Key and Sonya Ottaway relocated to the US as early as 1996 and found scarce opportunity to play a game inherent in their culture.  Steve Anderson, an American, was introduced to the sport and shortly became an avid supporter. Moreen, Jo and Sonya have been on the USA National Squad as early as 2002 and traveled to Barbados, the site of the World Cup qualifiers, in 2006.

They recognized that Netball was unheard of by Americans, evident by it being a void in schools, colleges and after school programs. They therefore incorporated Netball America in 2008 as a nonprofit organization. In 2009, the founders met with the board of the American National Netball Association and, with a common goal of taking Netball to the next level in America, decided to join forces. This association led to Netball America being the strongest body of Netball in the USA.  Click Here to see a list of Members throughout the country.
