Netball America fighting obesity		   "Let's Move the Youth" Charity Event
 

The Netball America Youth Enrichment Initiative will be launched at a charity fundraiser to be held Saturday August 21st, at the Official Australian Consul-General Residence. Tickets are limited and are onsale now. Click here for the invitation.
 
  Netball America Takes on Madison Square Garden
 

Netball America showcased netball with some of the nation’s top Netballers in an exhibition netball game prior to the Season Opener for the New York Liberty.   Read about the event or watch some actual game footage - Netball montage; Quarter time showcase; Michael Johns singing the anthem; and Michael Johns giving shooting tips to Matthew Modine.

  Netball America, a not-for-profit association invited you to join us in improving the lives of others as we champion active lifestyles for youth, fight child obesity, and create healthy role models.

According to the American Obesity Association, approx. 30.4% of kids are overweight and 15.5% are considered obese. Kids with weight problems tend to have lower self-esteem, higher rates of depression, anxiety, and obsessive compulsive disorder. Obesity is much more than an individual problem; it costs the United States nearly $100 billion and 300,000 lives annually.

Please show your support by purchasing a ticket to attend one of our upcoming events or simply make a donation. Can't make it? Please purchase a ticket and we'll donate the ticket to the youth groups we work with. Your generous contribution will provide resources and education for children who currently do not have access to these after-school nutrition and fitness programs. Emphasis in these programs is on proper exercise, nutrition and mentorship.
