Let’s Move the Youth & Team USA Fundraiser, Brentwood, Saturday May 19, 6-9pm.

The New Zealand Consul General will be hosting a fundraiser to support our cause of getting the youth moving.  The proceeds will benefit this important cause as well as support Team USA Netball who will represent the USA at the upcoming World Championships.  Tickets are only $20 and can be purchased here.  Ticket price includes dinner, drinks and entertainment featuring American Idol finalist Michael Johns, Country Artist Stephen Rowe and Wilson Phillips guitarist Troy MacCubbin.

 

 

Netball at the Down Under Fest, Atlanta May 26-28

Come down to the Down Under Fest to learn about Netball, participate in games and clinics.  You’ll also get a chance to see the collegiate Team USA in action as they ramp up for the World Championships.  We will have a full Netball court setup Saturday through Monday.  Pre-purchase tickets here.  Buy one pass get one free until May 1. USA National Netball Championships Logo2012 USA National Netball Championships

The Championships will be held in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada on Nov. 9-11. 2012 in a world class facility at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV).  November 9 will consist of clinics hosted by international presenters followed by the USA Representative playoffs in the evening.  The tournament will then commence on Saturday November 10 and conclude on the afternoon on Sunday November 11.

2013 GOLDEN OLDIES WORLD NETBALL FESTIVAL

The name ‘Golden Oldies’ does not mean your team cannot play Netball to the best of its ability or to its strengths. The sides you are drawn against will reflect the level of play which you have told us your team prefers – ranging from ‘competitive’ to ‘social’ and anywhere in between. The difference is we don’t publish the scores and there is no overall winner. Age is no barrier except you have to have reached 35 years to participate.

Global registration is now open for the 2013 Air New Zealand Golden Oldies World Netball Festival being held in San Diego, California, October 6-13.  The USA registration packet is available here - GON Game Plan & Cost Guide San Diego 2013. Email our festival director Barbara at GON2013FestivalDirector@gmail.com for more information.  The tournament is open to ladies and mixed teams.

This event is a partnership including the San Diego Sports Commission, San Diego United Netball Club and Netball America to work in partnership with the Golden Oldies Netball Secretariat.

Day Programme
Day 1: 5 October Transfer to Festival accommodation. Team Managers briefing. Opening Ceremony and Welcome Party.
Day 2: 7 October First round of games with transfers to/from the grounds.
Day 3: 8 October Golden Oldies Netball Festival Picnic Day.
Day 4: 9 October Second round of games with transfers to/from the grounds.
Day 5: 10 October Day at leisure with optional sightseeing tours.
Day 6: 11 October Third and final round of games with transfers to/from the grounds.
Day 7: 12 October Grande Finale Dinner and Air New Zealand Awards Function.
Day 8: 13 October Departure day transfers to airports or continue with optional tours and sightseeing.
